Musicians Making a Difference is an organization that I definitely support because they use their fame in the industry to try and help out others that are not as fortunate as them. This time around, at the Global Citizens Festival, will bring in tons of celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Katie Couric, Jeffrey Sachs, Jack Dorsey, Minka Kelly, Sophia Bush, Olivia Wilde, Katharine McPhee, Erin Heatherton, Neil Young with Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Band of Horses, and K’naan. Plus, they are all trying to end world hunger one step at a time.
Being produced by AEG Network Live, and streamed live in a special webcast, there really isn’t a reason why you shouldn’t attend this event as you can still watch it without being physically in NYC. The Global Citizen Festival will broadcast live from Central Park on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 4pm E.T. Watch it live on Palladia, MTV.com, and VH1.com!
