Even though HP fans have already waved farewell to their favorite book series, J.K. Rowling has just revealed that she is not yet done with writing for young readers, and that means returning to the Harry Potter world if needed.
Seems like the world’s craze over the Hogwarts student had had her rush through the series, and Rowling isn’t particularly too glad about all of her writings. “I had to write on the run and there were times when it was really tough,” she said. “And I read them, and I think ‘Oh God, maybe I’ll go back and do a director’s cut’, I don’t know.”
“I don’t want to go mechanically back into that world and pick up a load of odds and ends and glue them together and say, ‘Here we go, we can sell this,’” she told BBC arts editor Will Gompertz. “But if I did have a great idea for something else, I probably would do it.”
While Potter fans grasp onto that new spark of hope, I’m just wishing that she doesn’t overdo it, and best of luck if she really is bringing Harry back to the world.
