Demi Lovato has an X Factor Favorite

Demi Lovato, the fresh, young judge of X Factor, seems to have already picked her favorite contestant.

Lovato is the coach of the Young Adults group and has fallen for the charms of someone on her very own team. She told Hollywood Life, “Of course, I’m rooting for the people in my category, but in particular probably the one I’m rooting for the most may be Jennel Garcia. She’s amazing!”

Many were under the impression that she would be on Jillian Jensen’s side, a teenage girl who sang through tears due to her bullying experiences. Since Demi knows her pain, and has already shown some affection towards her, it has come as a surprise that she is not the favorite.

Garcia’s audition, which included her version of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ ‘Paris (Ooh La La)’, was received with huge applause and a standing ovation from the audience. Who knows - maybe Demi has an eye for stars!
