Emma Watson, aka Hermione from the Harry Potter movies, recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for the first time. Among the topics the two discussed, boys came up. Yup, American boys versus British boys for the pretty, young Emma.
Indeed, there are differences between the British boy and the American boy. Emma expressed her opinion of British boys to Ellen as “very well put together” and well-dressed but very restrained. She said she was used to them ignoring her, acknowledging her, then mean to her… etc. Wow, well, I certainly hope it has nothing to do with her being a celebrity. On the other hand, she appreciates the openness and straightforwardness of the American boys… but! Emma felt a culture shock and “they wear flip-flops, so I don’t know how I like that.”
Watch the clip below:
Flip-flops seem to be the downfall of the American boy if he is interested in Emma. Best get those brand spanking new loafers on to impress her! Oh, but don’t forget she’s currently dating Will Adamowicz.
What do you think about Emma’s differing views on the boys?
