Since I identify myself with the Friendship Party, I received a Hello Kitty for President 2012 pin and bumper sticker thanks to the kind people at Sanrio. Asking people who they voted (or are voting) for is kind of a touchy topic. Not with me. I’ll admit — I voted Hello Kitty. Hopefully Donald Trump can overlook that she isn’t an American citizen, college-educated and…she doesn’t even have a mouth!

Hello Kitty’s campaign slogan is, “You can never have too many friends!” and I wholeheartedly agree. If you support this idea, I urge all of you…even if you’re not of legal voting age, to head here to vote for her running mate.

If that’s not enough and you happen to be in the DC area, you can check out Hello Kitty’s Pop-Up Campaign HQ starting Nov. 1 for a week long residence at LivingSocial’s 918 F Street. The multi-floored space will host curated activities and events, an art show, and many more surprises. Limited edition Hello Kitty for President collectible items including t-shirts, campaign kits, plushies, tote bags and red, white and blue headband bows will be made available for purchase!
