As busy as the boys of One Direction are, it seems like they are generous enough to take time out of their busy schedules to make the days of a few kids from Sick Kids in London.
Teaming up with the Rays of Sunshine charity, which grants the wishes of seriously and terminally ill children, they met up with a couple of kids in front of a London hotel on Friday. They definitely made seven-year-old burn victim Niamh Wyle, nine-year-old Grace Millar, who has undergone a liver transplant, and nine-year-old leukaemia patient Eve Kelly very happy though!
Liam Payne expressed his feelings as:
“It’s such a small thing for us but the kids get so much out of it. We really love doing things like this. We leave smiling because they are always so wonderful.”
Niall Horan also added his thoughts:
“It is totally humbling to meet kids like this. And it really makes you feel good that you can do something nice for them. We’ve had amazing good luck and many of these children haven’t. But they are always happy and we go away feeling brilliant. It’s like we’re giving something back.”
I think it’s extremely nice of them to give back to the community and give some hope to the sick kids who haven’t had the best childhood!
