Hostess has announced that it would be shutting down and selling all of its assets.

Photographer Dwight Eschliman pays tribute to the snack with his new project, “37 or So Ingredients”.

Eschliman took pictures of each individual ingredient, named by Steve Ettlinger in his book Twinkie, Deconstructed.

How did you guys react to the news of Hostess shutting down? I can’t say I’m much of a Twinkie fan, so this piece of news doesn’t affect me all that much.

I just like the cream


Uhmm. I don’t know why you would take pictures of ingredients. lolol..


Never really been a fan of twinkies either. Too oily but the cream is good. XD
Haven’t had one in years though. Sucks to hear that it went out. I went to food maxx and was so confused about the empty shelves of where the twinkies would be.


my daddy showed me this a while ago.. and he rubbed this piece of info in my face.. LOOL =__=
but yeah, twinky is nothing but chemicals.. :/ i was never a big fan, but i guess it’s for the better.. ._.
