Yes, I’m straight. I swear. But, like a dude, I love me some supermodels! I know I said before that I was tired of all the “high fashion porn” in fashion mags, but for these select supermodels, I’d allow it. So I love supermodels, what’s wrong with that? Nothing, baby, nothing. The following are a list of my all-time favorite insanely freakishly gorgeous, sexy, perfect-looking supermodels. I don’t know how they were ever created, I really don’t. It seems impossible to be that gorgeous. But, at least they aren’t Einstein too, that would just be too much for me to take. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, they are b-e-a-utiful. But, unlike my straight male friends that I scope out chicks with, my intentions are purely fashionable, I swear! Okay, okay, so I’d totally make-out with them if I had the chance. If only they didn’t make me feel so damn short and fugly!

Now in order of amazing-ness, I present to you some sexy ass supermodels!

So naturally I was on Polyvore creating outfits I dream of, and I came across these adorable Gummi Bear candy inspired earrings! Talk about cute enough to eat! All I could think of as I made my set was how much I wanted a pair….and then my mind switched to how much I wanted a bag of gummi bears at that moment. PERFECT combination! lol Luckily for me, Polyvore has a “buy it” option, as well as the link to the store, so off I went to check out the mechanics of this sweet little accessorie.

Okay not exactly what I would call fashionable but to each their own right? As if! Whoever decided to mutilate these poor consoles should be shot in the face.

A video game themed fashion/lifestyle magazine in France called Amusement is flourished with various “fashionable” console photos and typical gaming scenes. While I’m a bit concerned over the NDS and Wii in the photo, the ideas for the photo shoots make me LOL.

If you live in NYC, you learn that you ALWAYS need to carry an umbrella. As an NYC newbie I got caught in more than one freak thunderstorm and wound up drenched and looking more like a wet dog than a fashionista. So, now I carry a mini umbrella with me wherever I go. However, my pint size umbrella is nothing compared to these sexed up fashion forward full size umbrellas. These babies are worthy of Ms. Umbrella-Ella-Ella herself, Rihanna, if she didn’t already have her own umbrella line. But these Guy de Jean designed umbrellas are so sexy, I might be a little more excited for a downpour. Guy de Jean is a French umbrella company that designs for Jean Paul Gaultier, Chantall Thomass, and other top designers. Check them out at www.guydejean.com. Now just turn up “Here Comes The Rain Again” by the Eurythmics, or the obvious “Umbrella” by Rihanna, and stomp through those puddles in style.

Lumberjack is in vogue, baby.

Who would have ever thought looking like a bum would become so stylish as of late?

After scouring the racks of my go to cheapie store (the beloved Forever21), I find myself simultaneously horrified and in awe. More than 21 plus variations of plaid can be found in the dressy tops section of the site alone.

This is an ongoing series of plaid gone wrong. My mission is to find the best, better, and worst versions of the classic slacker/British metrosexual man trend. I will look far and wide in order to bring you some of the worst sins in fashion (and no hipster will be spared, intentional or not).

Let’s start off with some of the good. Wait, I can only find one I like. Uh oh.

LV Dogbag

If you think fashion is all about glitz, glamour, serious models, gorgeous clothes and accessories, well you’re wrong. Sometimes it’s ugly, sick, stupid, or just plain funny-as-hell. You’ve probably seen the Sex and The City Episode where Carrie Bradshaw face-plants it on the runway of the charity fashion show, but have you seen it in real life? Well watch this video, it’s frickin’ hilarious! Ouch! This is why you don’t walk the runway directly after the Shaolin Monks. Best Fashion Show Ever

It’s a dog! It’s a bag! It’s dogbag! Seriously, LV, you had nothing better to waste your money on? So wrong it might bite you on the ass.

Well the year is already a day old, and like everyone else on the planet, I’ve got some goals that I want to achieve this year. The thing is though, that I’m not really good with keeping these resolutions. LOL They usually fade into oblivion by March. I think that happens because I always have this ambitious laundry list of things that I want to accomplish and in the end, I’m just overwhelmed with how much I “need” to do, and end up either half assing it, or putting it off until never. Yeah, I said until never. Down with Procratination!

Narcisco Rodriguez Spring 2009

Well, honestly, for me, personally, 2008 sucked it big time for various reasons. I’ll try to be positive here, but I make no promises. Read on for my list of the Best and the Worst 2008 had to offer.

Best of 2008

1) Bandage is Back- thank you Alaia and Herve Leger
If you love “Clueless” like I do, you’ll know that Cher wears an Alaia when she is robbed at gunpoint and forced to ruin her dress. Yes, Alaia, is the 1980’s and 90’s designer famous for skin tight bandage dresses. It seems every designer paid homage to Alaia and Herve Leger on the Spring 2009 runways. My favorite was Narcisco Rodriguez Spring 2009 sexy bandage inspired designs. They are simply amazing and so sexy.

Well, the year is pretty much over and it’s time to say “Hello” to 2009 and “Goodbye” to ‘08. It’s also a time to reflect on the past events of the year. It was a cool year in my opinion, I mean, we’ve elected our first ever “Black” president, Sen. Barack Obama and we all went green in an 11th hour attempt to save our planet. Also this year in La La Land (aka Hollywood), Britney didn’t overdose on her own celebrity. WOOT!

It’s  been a great year for music and fashion…aside from the gossip and train wrecks (Hi Amy!).The two always gone hand in hand, so it’s no surprise that there’s been some really awesome creativity going on and you know wouldn’t be a proper entertainment year-end rundown without mentioning Rihanna, who had her shine in both!
