So, I found yet another Japanese commercial that’s infinitely cuter than the American Minute Maid counterpart. I know, Zzzzzzzzzz. One commercial features Japanese kids dressed up in animal costumes, the others feature girls surrounded by randomly appearing flowers. American Minute Maid advertisers, are you paying attention? One sure-fire way to impress for Sunday Brunch is to make mini-cakes. Or anything mini, really. You can get away with making cakelets or mini-cakes with Williams-Sonoma’s Gift Cakelet Pan. It’s basically a mold you use to form little cakes. Your friends don’t have to know — just tell them you’ve got super skilled hands. Or trained kitchen dwarves who specialize in making small cakes. Although, that might turn off some of your guests. Better to tell them you’re super skilled and mention nothing about the cakelet pan. More »
