Recently, American musician, A.J. McLean, has made a big purchase of approximately $40,000. What of? The item that caught his eye was a photo (above) of Lindsay Lohan where she modeled as a vampire with actor Michael Trevino. The photo was taken by photographer Tyler Shields.

RadarOnline had a chat with Shields when he revealed, “A. J. paid between $30,000 and $40,000 for the large print of Lindsay with Michael Trevino… This is what I do for a living and my subjects do not get a cut of any sales generated just a lot of exposure by being photographed by me.”

He also mentioned how he’d be thrilled to work with Lohan again for another project.

I find this quite incredible because I don’t have 40 grand lying around to buy a portrait with. I also don’t fancy the photo all that much, but he must have been pretty intrigued.
