I have been following iamamiwhoami for the past few months and, like everyone else who is obsessed, I have been trying to figure out who is behind this mysterious viral campaign. More »

In 1972, glam rock icon David Bowie wore an eyepatch for more than its use as a medical necessity for persons missing an eyeball; he made it a fashion statement. Eyepatches have been around for a very long time, but were always kind of boring in design. More »

Lady Gaga’s Hello Kitty dress, say hello to Miki Fujimoto’s Hello Kitty dress. As much as I love you with every ounce of my being Lady Gaga, I’m kind of sad to say that I think you’ve met your match. When it comes to dresses made out of plush Hello Kitty dolls, that is. Sure, Miki Fujimoto is a Japanese popstar, but in terms of fame, record sales and overall awesome-ness…she’s got nothing on you. A Lady Gaga lyric I can’t seem to get out of my head comes from Monster: “He ate my heart, he ay-ay-ay-ate my heart.” It’s often in my head that I can’t seem to not see it everywhere — toast included. There’s no question that this image of heart-shaped jelly on toast is inspired by Lady Gaga. More »

Lady Gaga in Wonderland — if only that existed. If it did, my heart would be severely torn between the actual Alice in Wonderland movie that’s out right now and Gaga in Wonderland. Luckily, there exists a Gaga in Wonderland trailer. It’s basically a mocked-up trailer that mashes Lady Gaga music videos with actual Alice in Wonderland footage. More »

British singer-songwriter Kate Nash really knows how to sing to the lonely and broken-hearted, especially in her song, “Nicest Thing.” Although it’s one of my favorite songs of hers, I’m happy to say that I am not lonely or brokenhearted. I do however, love this animation of the song that I recently found on Youtube. More »

Justin Bieber is back again with a new song called Eenie Meenie. The song is actually a Sean Kingston song with Justin Bieber featured — it’s not that bad. For one, I’m confident that I now know how to spell ‘eenie meenie.’ More »

Official photos from Lady Gaga’s music video for “Telephone” have recently been released. It is reported to be directed by Jonas Åkerlund, who also directed the music video for “Paparazzi.” “Telephone” is supposed to continue where “Paparazzi” left off. Gaga is detained in a women’s prison, but Beyoncé comes along and helps her escape. Other photos leaked from the video shoot show Beyoncé driving the Pussy Wagon from Quentin Tarantino’s movie Kill Bill Vol. 1. More »

So for Valentine’s Day, I went to the theaters with my boyfriend to watch the romantic drama, Dear John– a movie, much to my surprise, that he decided upon (though to his credit, he didn’t really know what the movie was about, other than he heard it was good). I, on the other hand, wanted to watch Daybreakers, but they weren’t screening it anymore by that time. More »

When falling for someone new or being in love, does it not seem like every love song you hear knows exactly what you are feeling, even the most cheesy ones? Even if you are single, sometimes when a certain love song comes on the radio, do you not think of a blissful memory you have of an ex? Music is funny that way when it invokes the feeling of love in us. This is why I sometimes feel like music is my boyfriend, whether he is an ’80s classic or Beyoncé. The first lyrics of my favorite love songs are what drew me to them. Here are my Top 5 favorite love songs for Valentine’s Day. More »

The relationship between siblings can sometimes be bad, but they can sometimes be really good too. Michigan based folk musician Jeff Pianki seems to have a really good one with his little sister Carrie. Watching the interaction between them while singing covers of Sufjan Stevens songs made me wish I had a big brother growing up. More »

After seeing Brad Doggett playing his acoustic guitar so sweetly and singing in his mellow jello voice, I’ve come to realize that I can’t live without his music. More »

It is undeniable that we kind of love Lady Gaga here at GirlyBubble. I am actually very proud to call myself one of her Little Monsters, a loving moniker she has given to her fans. To show her Little Monsters her appreciation and love, she recently got a new tattoo and posted a picture of it on her Twitter with the message, “Look what I did last night. Little Monsters forever, on the arm that holds my mic.” More »

The Romeo and Juliet (1996) soundtrack is a soundtrack that has gone down in music history as one of the best movie soundtracks ever. According to me, at least. The Wannadies “You and Me” song is among one of my favorites on that soundtrack. The reason why I love it is kind of the reason why I love the entire Romeo and Juliet soundtrack — it’s sappy, romantic and sweet sounding due to the simplicity of the song. More »

If you were interested in purchasing Lady Gaga barbie dolls, sugar cookies or a Hello Kitty dress, it only makes sense to purchase them all with Lady Gaga dollar bills. Artist Craig Gleason took the liberty of illustrating images of Lady Gaga over George Washington. The resemblance is uncanny! They both seem to share the same poker face. More »
