No, the only way these words or slang terms will ever be sexy is when read in the divine London accent. Cockney need not apply; if you’ve ever seen a Guy Ritchie film and had no idea what was being said, chances are it was the cockney accent.

The UK is compromised of multiple segments so every area has a unique accent for herself - but that’s another story for another time. Here is a video that does a better job at it than I do.

Warning, vulgar language.

Yes, I’m straight. I swear. But, like a dude, I love me some supermodels! I know I said before that I was tired of all the “high fashion porn” in fashion mags, but for these select supermodels, I’d allow it. So I love supermodels, what’s wrong with that? Nothing, baby, nothing. The following are a list of my all-time favorite insanely freakishly gorgeous, sexy, perfect-looking supermodels. I don’t know how they were ever created, I really don’t. It seems impossible to be that gorgeous. But, at least they aren’t Einstein too, that would just be too much for me to take. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, they are b-e-a-utiful. But, unlike my straight male friends that I scope out chicks with, my intentions are purely fashionable, I swear! Okay, okay, so I’d totally make-out with them if I had the chance. If only they didn’t make me feel so damn short and fugly!

Now in order of amazing-ness, I present to you some sexy ass supermodels!

Basically, it’s a blog of cute little inspirational illustrations by a young woman named Joanna Alberti. The name puns on her main character’s name Sophie. Her main business is a line of greeting cards featured around Sophie and her fun, entrepreneurial, and distinctly girly life. The illustrations that go up on the blog, however, are a good way to get a dose of the inspiration without having to buy the cards ;) One of my favorites is featured here.

Since Joanna is a young woman entrepreneur herself, I’m sure Sophie must be somewhat autobiographical. According to the philoSophie website, Sophie is… You! “Witty, confident, compassionate and fun! You love being yourself and true to your values.” I would add that Sophie is a can-do business savvy girl who is doing things Cashmere Mafia style (RIP).

If you live in NYC, you learn that you ALWAYS need to carry an umbrella. As an NYC newbie I got caught in more than one freak thunderstorm and wound up drenched and looking more like a wet dog than a fashionista. So, now I carry a mini umbrella with me wherever I go. However, my pint size umbrella is nothing compared to these sexed up fashion forward full size umbrellas. These babies are worthy of Ms. Umbrella-Ella-Ella herself, Rihanna, if she didn’t already have her own umbrella line. But these Guy de Jean designed umbrellas are so sexy, I might be a little more excited for a downpour. Guy de Jean is a French umbrella company that designs for Jean Paul Gaultier, Chantall Thomass, and other top designers. Check them out at www.guydejean.com. Now just turn up “Here Comes The Rain Again” by the Eurythmics, or the obvious “Umbrella” by Rihanna, and stomp through those puddles in style.

Who would have ever thought looking like a bum would become so stylish as of late?

After scouring the racks of my go to cheapie store (the beloved Forever21), I find myself simultaneously horrified and in awe. More than 21 plus variations of plaid can be found in the dressy tops section of the site alone.

This is an ongoing series of plaid gone wrong. My mission is to find the best, better, and worst versions of the classic slacker/British metrosexual man trend. I will look far and wide in order to bring you some of the worst sins in fashion (and no hipster will be spared, intentional or not).

Let’s start off with some of the good. Wait, I can only find one I like. Uh oh.
