Unlike Mickey Mouse or Snoopy, she was not born out of a cartoon show or a video game. Put simply, Hello Kitty started out in the ’70s as an image put on stuff. Without any real advertising, the success of Hello Kitty skyrocketed Sanrio into a billion dollar business with half of the revenue from Hello Kitty. Still going strong today, it’s safe to say Hello Kitty’s got more than 9 lives. More »
Lately I’ve been staying up late (thanks to work) so I’ve been catching all the crappy infomercials – one of them was Flirty Girl Fitness.
It’s basically an exercising tape that doesn’t teach typical exercising but how to “spice up your results and unlock your inner diva” or otherwise how to pole dance. Your kit will come complete with 7 Flirty Girl DVDs (one of which they call Booty Beat), a booklet, a feather boa and a “fitness pole”. Sounds like a great value if you’re willing to shell out $260.
Ever since Carmen Electra’s stripper teachings, the feminine world has gone on a stripper dance frenzy. While it’s probably the most interesting way to tone your body, I think it’s a bit odd to see 30 – 40 year olds shake it like a salt shaker (but still funny).
