Nothing says refreshing like an Absolut Pears Garden…in your mouth. I had Absolut Pear vodka a few years ago and since then I haven’t been able to get enough of it — I love the crisp taste of a juicy pear mixed with vodka! The cocktail recipe for Absolut Pears Garden makes great use of Absolut Pear vodka. More »

Although I’m already in love with Pomegranate Izze, I’m sure adding rum to it would make me love it even more. I’ve yet to try this concoction but apparently, adding rum to pomegranate Izze is supposed to make it a tropical breeze of a cocktail. More »

What’s the deal with Fuzzy Navels? Why do they have to be so fuzzy? If you’re not into the fuzz (or alcohol), there’s one alternative: The Unfuzzy Navel. If you’re big on peach-tasting anything, this one is for you. More »

This week’s girly cocktail of the week, the Malibu Bay Breeze is extra pink, extra girly and extra breezy. If you like rum and/or tropical tasting drinks, the Malibu Bay Breeze is definitely for you. More »

There is no better combination in alcohol than champagne and strawberries. When they meet, they kiss. Strawberry Kiss to be exact. More than one serving of Strawberry Kiss at a party? That might qualify as one big make-out session… or not. Either way, here’s the recipe: More »

We all know that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but did you know they’re also a delicious girly cocktail? You don’t have to have loads of money to make White Diamonds — it’s cheap, fast and simple. More »

Pink Roses aren’t for smelling or looking at or making things pretty. They’re actually for drinking — especially when in girly cocktail drink form. More »

The Empire Hotel in New York City is best known for being Chuck Bass’ investment property on Gossip Girl. Naturally, like any hotel should, The Empire has recently milked the attention received from Gossip Girl fans by including Gossip Girl cocktails on their drink menu. Gossip Girl cocktails include the “S,” the “B,” XOXO and the I’m Chuck Bass cocktail. Luckily for you, you don’t have to travel all the way to New York to make a Gossip Girl cocktail. More »

Admittedly I’m not the biggest Sex and the City Fan, but I am a fan of the Cosmopolitan, a drink made popular by the show. As silly as this sounds, drinking it makes me feel more like a grown-up — despite the fact that I am technically a…grown-up. It’s not too sweet and it doesn’t have a strong alcohol taste to it. It’s the perfect balance of both. It’s also perfect for girls’ nights out or cocktail parties as it’s one of the easiest cocktails to make. More »

From Flauntme: I’m not exactly sure how long Demeter Fragrances has been around, but it has definitely been a while. I remember being in junior high and sampling every Demeter spray in the collection pretty much every time that I went to the mall (yep, I even loved beauty back then!). They’ve always had some pretty off-the-wall scents, but most of them are shockingly accurate. I remember one of my favorites was Tomato, because it absolutely smelled like the tomato plants my mom grew in her garden.
I also recall loving the Sex on the Beach scent, although at the time I thought it was just a funny name and not a drink. Demeter has a whole line of cocktail-inspired scents that are definitely worth checking out! More »

To be the life of the cocktail party, one must know the rules of the cocktail party. A cocktail party may sound like a superfluous idea, but they’re actually useful when it comes to two things; networking and dating. Future soulmate, business partner, best friend — you never know who you could meet at a cocktail party, so it’s best to understand the do’s and don’ts. More »

No, this won’t turn your ride into a pumpkin when the clock strikes midnight, nor would you be reduced to rags and a pair of glass slippers. The Cinderella is a pretty, delicious drink that won’t cause you to fall asleep like alcoholic drinks tend to do. You’ll survive past midnight! More »

So the alcoholic version of the Manhattan cocktail may be popularized on HBO’s Sex in the City or maybe…Manhattan (I don’t know, just a guess.), but I actually happen to find it the most foul tasting cocktail, ever. I have nothing against whiskey either — the Manhattan cocktail just leaves me a bad taste. What shouldn’t leave a bad taste, is the nonalcoholic version of the classic Manhattan cocktail. More »

I know what you’re thinking. Green cocktails, Jinra? Really, Jinra? The Green Goblin isn’t the most girly-sounding cocktail drink out there but trust me — I’ve scoured the ends of the Internet world to bring you the most girly Halloween cocktail drink I could find. And it happens to be green, and sweet just like you. Surpisingly, goblin is not required to make the Green Goblin. More »

Under-aged, health conscious ladies, I have heard your pleas. This week’s edition of Thirsty Thursday features the easiest Fall season-appropriate nonalcoholic cocktail drink you can make called the Syrian Blossom. Naturally, I picked it because pomegranates are rich in antioxidants and super beneficial for women’s health. And it’s pink, duh. More »

Let’s face it, Autumn. There is nothing pretty about bobbing for apples. There, I said it. But really, Autumn, bobbing for apples? After I’ve spent a sizable amount of time and thought into looking cute for Halloween? Don’t even get me started on the whole lawn situation, what with your fallen golden leaves that I have to clean up. Ugh, do I really have to scoop out pumpkin seeds from the pumpkin before I carve it? For being such a beautiful season, you are a piece of work. I think I need a drink. One that reminds me of the beautiful side of Autumn before I forget. A girly drink recipe for Dusk in Eden, perhaps? More »

There’s that saying, “Behind every great pitcher of beer, there’s a great girly cocktail drink.” If you’ve never heard of it, don’t worry. I just made it up. I am however, not making up the Thirsty Thursday weekly feature. It is real and every Thursday, we’ll bring your attention to a girly cocktail drink worthy of a girls’ night out, a girls’ night in — something a grown man wouldn’t be caught dead sipping. This week it’s the Sassy n’ Spiked Pink Lemonade Pitcher. More »
