I couldn’t help buying some of those miniature Hello Kitty sets after posting about them. Sadly, there weren’t very good pictures of them around, but now I took my own pictures to show you how cute and detailed they are! I love how everything that should be able to move can, like turning the nob on the toaster oven, or being able to take the metal rack out. Unfortunately I’ve never come across a flower shop in America that makes these adorable Hello Kitty flowers, but luckily the Internet provides instructions on how to make these on our own. Aside from white carnations, everything you need can be bought in one stop at any craft store: buttons, wire, ribbon, craft foam, glue, etc. These look so cute and pretty by themselves, or mixed in with other flowers as a special touch. There is a blog called Zakka Life that shows all the instructions on how to make them! Round buttons look ok, but I’d make sure to try to track down some oval ones instead. More »

I picked up a Sanrio Hello Kitty Lip Balm courtesy of YesStyle the other day and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it works and how cute it is.
