It’s official, there’s going to be a sequel to the movie. Eek!

Kim Cattrall recently appeared on Britain’s The Paul O’Grady Show where she was asked point-blank if there was going to be a sequel to the movie blockbuster. Her reply: “Yes, there will!”

There hasn’t been something this big since the actual movie came out. Fans all around the world are screaming for joy but I wouldn’t hold your breathe. All the cast members have a busy schedule and it is expected that the movie will start filming next summer.

Aw shucks; however, writer-director Michael Patrick King hinted that he was willing to do more and that the story wasn’t done. I hope not!

The DVD just came out a few weeks ago and I finally got the chance to see it. You don’t know how badly I’ve wanted to see this movie especially after the series ended and I moved to New York. I never understood half the things they said about New York life until I actually moved there. Btw it’s all true.

But anyways, the movie is a great chic flick which is surprising because I never expected it to be worth watching more than once. The movie is a combination of comedy, tragedy and all that good stuff – I actually cried watching it!

Now after seeing it, I plan to dig out my Sex and the City DVD series and watching all the season all over again. More »
