Hello Kitty fans, Nintendo Wii gamers, brace yourselves. Sanrio recently announced that ‘Hello Kitty Seasons’ will be the first title release for Nintendo Wii this holiday season! It’s also pretty much the first Hello Kitty title to come to the Wii! More »

From Wirebot:
If you never heard of the original Scribblenauts, you must have been living under a rock. Either that, or anytime the word “Nintendo” or “handheld gaming” was mentioned you covered your ears and did that weird thing with your voice to make you unable to hear. Either way, you need to know about this game, not just because of the sequel, but because it is a breakthrough in the way we play games. Oh, and because it lets you have a battle royal with vampires fighting zombies. In space. I am not kidding. More »

Nintendo DS owners, Cooking Mama lovers like myself, brace yourself. It’s been officially announced that Cooking Mama will return sometime this fall as Crafting Mama. She’ll have over 40 craft projects, along with a scrapbook in which you can save pictures of your creations. You can even team up with a friend via local multiplayer, if the crafting gets too lonesome. Some craft projects include sewing Mama’s apron and decorating her house. More »

In a fit of madness, designer Helen Red Richards managed to produce one of the strangest mergings of technology and fashion I’ve ever seen. Combining the style and glam of the 1970s with old school GameBoys, she created several pairs of these funky shoes for a Nintendo campaign in 2001, which became a popular trend among the Japanese youth for awhile– or so they claim. And cuter! EyePet is a game on PS3 that makes use of the PlayStation Eye (a webcam peripheral, successor to EyeToy).
This game is all about having fun with a creature that’s little, cute, adorable, funny, energetic, playful… You get the point. I’m still not sure what it is (I mean, what’s a simian? And what mammal comes from an egg?) but, this thing is better than any Tamagotchi, Nintendog or Milo. More »

I’ve been falling in love with the Scribblenauts Nintendo DS game even though it doesn’t come out yet. (Scheduled release date is Sept 2009). It’s one of those side-scrolling puzzle games where you have to draw your way to progress in the game. The animation and characters are just so darn cute! You can read more about it on the game’s website or Wikipedia page. More »

What do you get when you combine origami, Hello Kitty, and Nintendo? A Hello Kitty with Mario clothing made out of paper. Duh, it’s in the photo! There’s instructions and a template if you click through to the Nintendo Papercraft site. More »
Who says geeky isn’t sexy? This adorable red garter belt has a simple design adorned with a NES controller. Honestly there’s nothing special about it other than the charm but how can I resist? It’s $22 on Etsy by Kizette. That’s not all she has; however, she has more geeky items such as a Pi Math Garter and Zombie Brain Garter. Looks like I know what I’m getting for my wedding night. *Wink wink*

Nintendo DS has been a hit all around the world and they’ve been taking it to the next step. Not only have they’ve been used in school but now Sega has teamed up with Shiseido to offer women beauty tips on the console.
The software is being named “Project Beauty” and will be released in November only in Japan for 6,090 Yen or 55 USD. It works by using a scanning device included with the software that will feed your image to the DS where it will analyze your faces shape and the position of your eyes, lips, etc. It’ll match your face in one of the four categories: cool, active, cute or feminine.
Not only does it analyze your face, it’ll also help you with different looks for different occasions. Whether it’s business, dating or formal events, Project Beauty is programmed to help you discover new colors and looks just for you. It’ll also teach you basic make up skills.
It sounds worth my money so far! Although the game will only be released in Japan, maybe by chance they’ll extend to other countries.
