Out of boredom, I’ve been revisiting the famous Lady Gaga Hello Kitty dress photoshoot by Marcus Klinko & Indrani. I feel a bit ashamed to admit this, but I’ve overlooked something important: The shoes! It wasn’t until now that I’ve noticed she’s wearing the cutest Hello Kitty shoes, ever: More »

Not only is Sanrio turning half a century old this year, but so did Dr. Martens back in April. To commemorate both of their 50 years, the two companies joined forces to collaborate on a limited edition footwear collection called Sanrio X Dr. Martens. Designs inspired by Sanrio characters (Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pochacco, etc.) will be featured on Dr. Martens’ 1460 8-eye boots and Mary Jane shoes. More »

Shoes of Prey has become so successful that Mike and Michael actually left their jobs at Google to concentrate on the business full-time. More »

So, I’m kind of tall. I also have a shoe size that supports my tall height, just like Paris Hilton. Christian Louboutin shoes however, don’t. It’s one of the saddest facts of (my) life. What hurts more, is that Christian Louboutin’s shoes appear to be getting smaller — Barbie is now quite the collector of Christian Louboutin shoes. Naturally, I’m bummed but I can’t get over how cute the small pairs of Christian Louboutin Barbie shoes are. More »

United Kingdom artist INSA was asked by Tate Britain, a gallery located in London, England, to create pieces inspired by the work of artist Chris Ofili. One of the works INSA created were a pair of crazy heels called “Anything goes when it comes to (s)hoes…” (The title of the piece is a lyric from a Big Daddy Kane song.) More »

You may love shoes and bags with an intense burning passion, but would you still feel the same way about them if they were fused together? More »

Being a fairytale princess takes a lot of work like talking to inanimate objects and woodland creatures, finding the right prince, and making sure that evil witch does not ruin your day. If I could live in a storefront display of any store, kind of like Lindsay Lohan’s Confessions of a Broken heart music video but with less angst and domestic violence, I’d live in Camomilla. As Italy’s sole destination for Hello Kitty, Camomilla’s Milan location has the cutest store displays for the 2009 Autumn/Winter season. But is it really live-able? I don’t see why not, it’s got all the basics covered: Pearls, chandeliers, roses, beautiful shoes and handbags, Hello Kitty — nothing is missing here. More »

So last night I got to test run my stripper shoes and I also decided I’d switch up my look from wild playful curls to a sleek straight style. What’s even better is I got to test run both at Se7en’s party at Circle with Ningin Fam’s Mia, David, and my home girl Christina, who DJ’s for Soompi Radio Club. I gotta say I’ve got sorta a mixed feeling about my hair and I’m still in love with my shoes. Check it: More »

Your feet go through a lot. You use and abuse your feet everyday, from pounding the pavement to cramming your tootsies into poorly made knock offs 1/2 size too small. So this Spring it’s time to treat your feet with a pair or two from the amazing luxury shoe line Omelle (pronounced ahm’elle). Okay, so at $600-$1000 a pair, I won’t be walking the catwalk in Omelle any time soon, but I so wish I could! Seriously, I’m in love. Check out the line at www.omelle.com. More »

Here’s where it starts to get tricky. Finding shoes that are cute and durable for under 10 bucks is tough..especially since you want quality, because well, they’re gonna get some wear, and they need to last. For that reason, I think we’re gonna cheat on this one: while we’re still on our 10 for 10 scavenger hunt, how about for footwear, we try and stay under 20 bucks? That way, we can still find cute shoes, but still have some money in our wallets. Face it, there’ll come the day when dropping $200 + on shoes won’t even phase us, but for now, we shall improvise. Yeah pretty much. I’ve been hunting these shoes down like a maniac possessed since I saw them some two years ago in LUIRE magazine. I mean, how cute are they? I’d never seen anything so awesome that I knew I had to have them… the only problem was LUIRE is a Japanese fashion magazine. How was I supposed to get them!? At first I thought they’d just go down in my book of imports that I’ll never own, but then I found that they were actually American made. I can not tell you how stoked I was with this bit of news, and so my journey towards owning them began. More »
