The Dailyfill put together a list of the 10 Most Unrealistic Romances in Summer Movies. Some of the included movies, Leo and Kate in Titanic, Drew and Adam in 50 First Dates, and Jason and Mila in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The first time reading the list, I didn’t think much of it. But then it occurred to me that finding love in general is somewhat unrealistic. When you think about all the people you meet in life and only falling in love a small handful of times, I would say that everything about love is improbable. You almost need some crazy type of chance encounter romance for the love to stick. I have a little vacation/getaway coming soon and was searching for some cute flip flops. After wasting a lot of time on Amazon and Zappos as well as couple of hours in walking around Chinatown, I didn’t find anything that I liked. Thankfully, a friend referred me to, mydivascloset.com. I’m pretty impressed with the selection of cute flip flops they have. I think I’m going to get the red Hitomi design since I’m a sucker for things that look Asian. Lately I’ve had such a craving for desserts. This always happens to me around the summer. But as you all probably know desserts can be a hassle to make. I definitely can’t stand being in a hot kitchen during the summer. So I spent last night looking for some easy to make desserts that are also light and pretty to look at. Pretty food just tastes better, everyone knows that!

Not really, I actually hate the cold even though I’m a February baby. I grew up in warm climates so I hate any extreme weather. Stupid of me to move to the North East!

Any who, I was shopping for food the other day and I noticed these really cute cakes. They are simple but the mixture of color and the ornaments went really well together and popped out the most compared to everything else on the shelf.

Taking noticed to the ornaments, it just goes to show that fall is here and soon after will be winter. I love the season with its changing leaves and special Starbucks drinks but I feel like summer ended too fast. I’m already missing the warm weather but for some reason I’m really looking forward to the holiday season. I’m such a girl. Ha!

Well of course you do if everything is 75% off! Hard Candy Cosmetics are all on sale for 75% meaning everything is pretty much under $8. Turns out they have to liquidate most of their products. While I deeply sympathize for them, my love for big discounts takes over and I’m good to go.

Their cosmetics feature very bright colorful palettes that definitely fit the summer mood; perfect for back to school season. Not only are their colors awesome, they package it in a cute manner that’ll have girly written all over you.

Summer’s coming to an end and that means back to school. While you can go back kicking and screaming, why not go in style as well? Juicy Couture has a special Back to School collection featuring fashionable accessories to make school a little more couture.

Juicy Couture is a high end fashion brand that features contemporary apparel. They can be easily identified by their excessive use of pink in addition to an old English/Victorian styled logo. They’re quite expensive and can only be found in high end department stores but you can also buy their merchandise online at their website or for cheaper on eBay.

The Back to School collection features stationary, handbags, clothes for girls and jewelry flaunting the pink and the JC logo, perfect for every girl. I’ve absolutely love stationary and JC so this is a dream come true. Personal favorites are the logo-print journal, stick-not cube and the nylon messenger bag. While you can pay an arm and a leg for their items, you can also buy it cheaper on auction on eBay.
